Coastal Cleanup Day
Help keep San Francisco’s stretch of the coastline clean at the 2013 California Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 21, 2013 – the third Saturday of September.
Cleanup and restoration activities will be happening at Crissy Field, Ocean Beach, Baker Beach, Lands End as well as creeks, beaches, marshes and rivers all over the Bay Area including Marin, San Mateo, Santa Clara County and many more locations.

- Rancho Corral de Tierra, 10 am-1 pm, habitat restoration, Register
- Clean Up En Route—Pick up trash and debris while heading to your site.
In 2012, over 50% of the debris collected was diverted from the landfill and nearly 770,000 lbs. of trash was removed from California beaches, lakes and watersheds. Let’s make 2013 even more successful.
Limit waste by bringing your own reusable supplies (bags, bucket, gloves, water bottle, etc.). They will also have some supplies available.
