Event Details

Join the JETAANC Kabuki Club and the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California for a special screening of the Kabuki classic “The Five Bandits,” the story of the notorious bandit Benten Kozo and his cohorts, a sinister group who live outside the law but still abide by their own code of honor.

The film is in Japanese with English commentary, so if you are curious about the tradition of Kabuki, a unique combination of drama, music, dance, and spectacle, this is a rare chance to see one of the classics.

Light refreshments will be served as well, so spend your Sunday sipping on some beverages while watching a rare dramatic spectacle full of secrets, swords and samurais.
