Bharati Mukherjee On Intercultural Marriage | Booksmith

Clark Blaise (Arts and Letters Award for Literature from the American Academy) and Bharati Mukherjee (pictured, National Book Critics’ Circle Award for Best Fiction) are writers, with scores of books between them, who have been married to one another for over forty years.

This evening they’ll talk about, and read a bit from, each of their new books, and will discuss intercultural marriage, its expectations and realities.
