7th Annual San Francisco Gospel Festival | Sept 3 & 4

The 7th Annual Bayview Juneteenth Gospel Festival (originally scheduled in June, but which confusingly now takes place in September) is a family-friendly festival with two full days of Gospel music, vendors and food near the Bayview Opera House on 3rd Street.

The event, which takes place September 3 & 4th, 11am – 6pm, showcases a huge number of gospel singers and groups from all over the Bay Area including the The Disciples, The Starlights, Voices of Double Rock, Young Prophetz,
Elder Dwayne, Bishop Franklin & The Royal Family and more.

Since gospel usually means singing about the big G-O-D, expect a fair bit of praising the lordy, but still should be a great day out for anyone who apprecaites the music style that influenced everyone from Elvis to Ray Charles.
