Appetite Obscure is an experimental dining experience, created by you and happening on a monthly basis. Please come prepared with an Interaction Dish.

What is an Interaction Dish, you ask? It’s food that you tell your eater how to experience. Eating is just one small part of the meal. The way the food is shared, dressed, dismantled, exploded, complimented, criticized, and played with is just as important as its taste. Your experience can be anything from a simple gesture to elaborate performances involving story-telling, costumes, language play, dance, games, tricks, or anything else imaginable.

Liberate yourself from the tyranny of the tongue and experience a new way of eating.

Appetite Obscure: An Experimental Potluck

Appetite Obscure presents Carnival: a potluck circus sideshow vaudevillian extraordinaire.

They’ve got beer from the New Normal brewery. They’ve got music, dancers, and jugglers. They’ve got the very finest in circus dining tableware and ambience, and at the center of it all is you, alive and dining for one night only.

What’s your Interactive Dish gonna be? Is it an edible ring toss game you play upside down? Is it PT Barnum’s face in a baked sweet potato? Bring it inside, so we can find out. I’m not a gambler, but I’d bet dollars to animal crackers we’ll be rendered speechless, unable to believe our mouths.

Haven’t got a dish? Come on in, there’s plenty to go around. Bring your friends and tell ’em to grab a plate because this is the big one, the main event.
