1st Annual Boba Festival: Giveaways, Food Trucks & Free Snow Ice | San Jose

The first ever “Boba Festival” invites vendors from all across the Bay Area to come under one roof and showcase their contributions to the phenomenon at San Jose State University from 1-4 pm on August 22, 2015.

Free general admission with an RSVP requested, but if guests want to sample the milk tea, tickets are $8, but they have now SOLD OUT.

The free guestlist will not let you sample milk tea, unfortunately, but you can still come to the festival and enjoy the rest of our festivities such as free giveaways from vendors, photobooths, food trucks, entertainment, and free snow ice from Ice Husky.

Guests who purchased tasting tickets will be able to vote for their favorite vendors in the categories of Best Milk Tea, Best Boba, and Fan Favorite, in which the winners will be awarded at the end of the event.

This event is organized by Alpha Kappa Psi who want to celebrate the talents of the people of San Jose and ultimately philanthropy. All proceeds to this event will go towards both Water1st International and a Scholarship for Future Business Professionals. Water1st international strives to not only provide clean water access to communities, but also educate them on water sustainability and hygiene. Donate and help them reach their goal of $2,000 before the Boba Festival.
