Creative Concord: Art & Music Jam in the Park (Oct. 14-15)

Creative Concord is taking place in October 2023 with more public art installations and a 2-day kickoff weekend at Todos Santos Plaza on October 14th an 15th including murals, poetry, ART & MUSIC JAM In The Park with 20 artists painting live-scale original works, live music, special performances, and activities for public participation. A collection of large sculptures that illuminate the night with LED lights will be on display from October through early January 2024.

Local Edition Creative, City of Concord, and Visit Concord are thrilled to partner on this collaborative movement that unifies community around the arts. With a focus on highlighting diverse styles, cultures, and themes, Creative Concord has enlivened the city with a portfolio of artworks that embody a sense of welcoming and an understanding that a wonderfully diverse community can be found here.

This year’s programming includes new additions to the experience including live music from local indie bands curated by Dave Hughes from The Beat of Diablo, a spectacular spoken word poetry performance curated and hosted by poet laureate Jose Cordon, and an intimate talk and performance hosted by The California Symphony.
