Event Details

This program from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is inspired by Kerry James Marshall‘s work, which features the American history we rarely see.

Works of iconic and emerging artists including Romare Bearden, Elizabeth Catlett, Glenn Ligon, Mark Bradford and Kara Walker will also be highlighted. This talk provides an opportunity to explore a provocative topic through the prism of art, history and contemporary culture.
