The Delta is a place of connections where rivers flow together, freshwater meets salt water, ocean fish come inland, birds from the north come for the winter, and birds from the south come to breed. Birds of the California Delta acquaints us with this unique local setting and its birds. Here’s your opportunity to meet author Aaron N.K. Haiman for an in-person introduction to the Delta!
Aaron will share a 45-minute presentation on his fantastic new book, birding experiences, and knowledge. Following the presentation, he’ll answer your questions and sign copies.
All are welcome and this event is free to attend. We appreciate your RSVP to be sure we set up enough chairs.
