Asian Art Museum: Free Admission Day (Every First Sunday)

Through the power of art, the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco brings the diverse cultures of Asia to life.

Located in the heart of San Francisco, the museum is home to one of the world’s finest collections of Asian art, boasting more than 18,000 awe-inspiring artworks ranging from ancient jades and ceramics to contemporary video installations.

In celebration of Sunday Streets, the Asian Art Museum is hosting a special one-off free Target Sunday on September 23, 2018.

Bring the whole family to the museum on Sunday, September 23 with free general admission courtesy of Target and while you’re there, be sure to check out Nupur Nishith’s Mithila Piano (Sept. 7-Dec. 30).

Sunday Streets, Sunday, September 23:
Sari Dress Tent: A wearable living-sculpture installation, the 11-foot-tall Sari Dress Tent, with a voluminous 12 ft. circumference skirt, embodies stories of migration.

Please note: Street parking is free on Sundays, making a visit to the museum both fun and affordable.
