$1.99 Burgers Coming to Hayward

Campus Burger, the San Jose fast food spot known for its $1.99 burgers, is expanding again with a new location coming to Hayward.
The new restaurant is headed to 26953 Mission Blvd., Suite C, taking over the former Subway space across from Moreau Catholic High School.
The rapidly growing burger chain first opened near San Jose State in July 2024 and now has locations in San Jose, Berkeley and Gilroy. More locations are also in the works for Santa Cruz and San Diego.
The expansion comes as Campus Burger continues to lean into its budget-friendly prices, offering an increasingly rare deal for those of us looking to eat without spending a fortune.
