Thanks to KRON4 for sharing the positive news that nearly one-fifth of Contra Costa County residents have been vaccinated.
In addition, the COVID-19 case and test positivity rates are steadily declining, which health officials are saying, the county will likely transition from the state’s purple tier to the less restrictive red tier within a few weeks.
Thankfully, the county is doing well towards meeting its goal of vaccinating 1 million residents by the Fourth of July. Thus far, the county has vaccinated more than 228,000 people (with at least one dose).
