Thanks to SF Gate and Eater SF for sharing the news that after several years in the works, a brand new food hall is opening up in August in Los Altos.

State Street Market, Los Altos’ first food hall, will be a massive 20,000 sqft space with several full service sit down restaurants plus nearly a dozen smaller food vendors with indoor and outdoor seating.

The food hall will feature some heavy hitters from the culinary world including Chef Traci Des Jardins of San Francisco’s Jardinière who’s opening a new Cali-Mexican restaurant and speakeasy called El Alto.

The Kims from Palo Alto’s Michelin-starred Maum will open Bǎo Bèi, a more casual restaurant with Korean and Taiwanese influences. Plus Bay Area favorites Tin Pot Creamery will be serving up their handmade, small-batch ice cream and you’ll be able to take home delectable cheeses from Cowgirl Creamery – hopefully they’ll offer samples like their original Point Reyes location.

More eateries are still to be announced, but Eater SF notes that you can likely expect spinning rotisserie chickens and a coffee bar.
