2015 Taiwanese Festival

The annual Taiwanese American Cultural Festival will once again be held in Union Square. Over 8,000 people from all across the Bay Area attend this event yearly to experience the vibrancy of Taiwanese culture. through food, music, performances and fun workshops.

In 2015, the cultural festival is themed “Taiwan Soul,” which celebrates everything beloved and unique to the beautiful island.

Check out interactive booths will include dough figurine art, yo-yo, calligraphy, and much more. There will be special live performances, such as singing and traditional dance.

The festival has confirmed that the food vendors will be selling Taiwanese delicacies commonly seen in Taiwan night markets, such as minced pork over rice, braised soy sauce eggs, and boba milk tea. The notorious stinky tofu, whose stench can be smelled a mile away, will also be available for the exceptionally adventurous food fanatic.
