20th Street Block Party

Party with 20,000 and Noise Pop in the streets of The Mission.

Get ready to party with 20,000+ summer lovin’ people at this delicious summer feast and street party over three blocks, typically with two stages of alt-indie bands and DJs curated by Noisepop, and food and drinks from some of the neighborhood’s top restaurants, businesses, and artisans and a cooking demo stage.

2018 will be headlined by Empress of, the electro-synth-pop project of Los Angeles-based, Latin American singer-songwriter, Lorely Rodriguez.

The Block Party will also welcome Jeff Rosenstock, a ska-punk pioneer who was the lead singer of the band The Arrogant Sons of Bitches and Bomb the Music Industry! and has since gone on to have a successful solo career, releasing his third solo album, POST-, earlier in 2018. He also proved to be a breakout star at Noise Pop Festival earlier this year, selling out Great American Music Hall. Additional performers include The Marías, the psychedelic-soul lovechild of LA native Josh Conway and Puerto Rican-bred, Atlanta-raised María who released their debut EP, Superclean Vol. I, last fall; San Francisco’s own The She’s, the beloved four-piece garage rock band; FAN, the brand new solo project from Meric Long, who is best known as one half The Dodos; San Francisco-based pop punk rockers The Total Betty’s; and local teenager rock outfit Small Crush, who release their debut EP, Signal Dreams, earlier this year.
