This July 19-20, the San Francisco Public Library re-launched in-person services at Eureka Valley, Bayview, Western Addition, Bernal Heights, Ocean View, Noe Valley, Parkside, Presidio and Glen Park.

This also means that book drops are now 24/7.

In person you can:

  • Open a library account and get a physical library card
  • Browse library materials
  • Use public computers
  • Photocopy, print, fax and scan documents
  • Pick up holds
  • Check out and return items
  • Get help with questions about your library account or library services

In addition, the library has announced that by the time school begins in August, all of their branch libraries (with the exception of Mission, which is closed for renovation) will be open for in-person service with no time limits.
