Amazing Photos of Last Night’s Full Moon
The “buck moon” made a perfectly-placed appearance right under on of Oakland’s iconic cranes

That moon last night was amazing! The “buck moon” looked especially orange thanks to the smoke from wildfires. After scouring Instagram, our favorite photo by far was by photographer Vincent James who took this shot in Oakland.
The photo was perfectly placed with the moon right underneath one of Oakland’s cranes (and yes, he did add a tiny little photoshopped cable to make it look like the crane was holding up the moon – but we’ll forgive him for that little bit of fun – the rest of the photo was all in camera)
