Bay Area Sees Rare Snow: Photos & Videos Around The Bay
Thanks to SFGate, NBC Bay Area, and KRON4 for sharing the news that snow can be seen all around the Bay Area at elevations as low as 1,300 feet.
While most of the Bay Area has felt the effects of the “Atmospheric River,” some locations around The Bay have reported snow. Some people even took the rare opportunity to build a snowman.
And, the storm isn’t over yet, with 5 to 8 feet of snow expected to fall on parts of the Sierra Nevada by Friday. Perhaps more snow will fall in the Bay Area too.
Snow dusted the Santa Cruz Mountains, topped Mount Diablo in the East Bay, and even sprinkled the grape vines in Sonoma County.
In Sonoma County, Kent Porter captured the snow fall on Geysers Road.
