Thanks to SF Gate for sharing the news that a brand new Chick-fil-A is coming to Emeryville.
The controversial, yet popular chicken fast food restaurant is taking over the former Panera Bread at 1525 40th St. The City of Emeryville Community Development Department approved back in March, but there’s no opening date information available yet.
It’s unlikely there will a drive-thru at this location since it’s not permitted in Emeryville, but there will be an outdoor dining area.
