“Friday Nights at the de Young” is Back for 2017

A whole summer of free friday night fun from June to August kicks off

Friday Nights at the de Young is a free weekly after-hours art “happening” in the museum’s public spaces.

The event has a new theme every week, but typically includes an eclectic mix of live music, dance performances, film screenings, panel discussions, lectures, artist demos, hands-on art activities, and more. Plus, the observation tower is open until 8 pm.

There’s also Free Museum Admission during Friday Nights at the de Young which includes access to the permanent collection galleries (Please note that access to any special exhibitions require a separate paid ticket) 

Friday Nights at the de Young
– Every Friday, June 2 to August 18, 2017 | 5-8:30 pm
– Second Fridays in the fall of 2017 (Sept/Oct/Nov) | 5-8:30 pm
– Hiatus during December and January
de Young Museum, Golden Gate Park, SF
FREE But paid tickets required for special exhibits.
