Tuesday night concert takeover with Nova Albion & cheap beers
By - posted 9/3/2013 No Comment

Funcheap is presenting our first concert night of 2013.

We’re inviting just 100 Funcheapers to join us in taking over an intimate bar in the Mission and showcasing an exclusive free concert by Nova Albion –  one of our favorite local bands that normally plays much larger venues.

Plus expect ticket giveaways, a band meet & greet and drink specials like $2 PBR, $4 Ommegang Witte and $5 Sangria.

Funcheap Showcase Concert: Nova Albion
Tuesday, September 3, 2013 (9:15p)
Amnesia 853 Valencia St., SF

>> Exclusive Guestlist Link – Limit 2 free tickets

9/3 update: The Funcheap guestlist is already at capacity – however, the first 10 people to show up in line will be given free tickets even if you aren’t on the guestlist. The general public will be let in as space allows, but guestlist takes priority.

Headliner: Nova Albion
Despite drawing nostalgic comparisons to ’80s favorites like Tears for Fears and INXS, Nova Albion is also born out of the current sounds of bands like Phoenix and Arcade Fire. Nova Albion has been featured live at Noise Pop Festival, The America’s Cup Pavilion, and Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco and their debut EP Nature is currently available on iTunes.

Support:
– Tiny Pyramids (Electro Dance Pop)
– Tekite (Extraterrestrial hip hop & far out funk from Oakland)
Support lineup subject to change

Amnesia is a cozy red-lit room in the heart of the Mission on Valencia between 19th and 20th.
