Thanks SFGate for spotlighting BART-Man, a local luchador wrestler whos serves as the unofficial wrestling ambassador to BART.
If you’re wondering what his origin story is, BART-Man says, “When a radioactive train hit mild mannered Bartleby Leight, he turned into your friendly, neighborhood BART-Man. Vigilante superhero wrestler!”
BART-Man wrestles with Hoodslam in Oakland, which has been closed throughout the pandemic. He’s even performed at Funcheap’s 2019 Cinco de Mayo Lucha Libre Festival at SoMA StrEat Food in San Francisco.
