Rainbow Trail Scavenger Hunt

When it rains, look for rainbows…

We love this positive viral trend (#rainbowwalk / #rainbowhunt / #rainbowwindows) we’ve seen online. People around the world are putting up rainbows in their windows and it looks like the Bay Area is onboard too (we’ve spotted some in our neighborhood). Locally, East Bay blog 510Families has suggested it as well.

Help build a Rainbow Trail to add a little cheer to your neighborhood.

Draw a rainbow and put it up in your window, then when we’re out taking walks in the neighborhood, we have something joyful to look for. It’s a great way to stay connected to each other while keeping our distance.

If you’d rather color in a rainbow, you can print out 510families’ rainbow coloring page.

Here’s some pretty cool ones we’ve spotted online. Let’s all add to the rainbow trail.

☀️? rainbow sun catchers?☀️ • these diy rainbow sun catchers are so fun and easy to make! all you need is: – clear contact paper – tissue paper scraps – black and white paper and that’s it! cut the black paper into a rainbow outline and white paper into clouds, lay them on the clear contact paper and add the tissue paper in a rainbow pattern (or whatever pattern you want!). then add the top layer of contact paper and cut along the outside of the rainbow ? • we love this sun catcher activity and will be using it to make flowers ? and eggs closer to Easter ? ? • what would your little one like to make? I’d love to hear ??
