The 2014 Opening Day on the Bay shows off over 100 historic workboats, fireboats, towboats, classic and contemporary craft decorated to the 2014 theme “Visions.”

This marks the official start of the San Francisco 2014 boating season.

97th Annual “Opening Day on the Bay” Boat Parade
Sunday, April 27, 2014 (Noon to 3pm)
Crissy Field to Pier 39, SF
FREE to watch from the shore

The occasion will be a unique opportunity to see these special boats which typically sail close to shore where land-based spectators can enjoy the event along SF’s Northern shoreline from Crissy Field, along the Marina Green and to Pier 39.

The Blessing of the Fleet is 11:00 to 12:30 in Raccoon Strait.
