Pedicabs Coming to Golden Gate Park?

The City looks to expand mico-mobility options within the park with pedicabs and more shared bikestations

San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department has announced it’s expanding its micro-mobility options for Golden Gate Park.

In response to popular demand, we’ll be working with Lyft Bikeshare to add at least six bikeshare stations within Golden Gate Park in 2022. We’re also exploring partnerships to bring pedicab service into the Park and add more innovative micro-mobility options—like adaptive bikeshare for cyclists with disabilities—to the Park experience.

Have you seen pedicabs around San Francisco? Currently, Golden Gate Pedicab operates in the City. They typically service the Embarcadero waterfront from the ballpark to the Golden Gate Bridge. However, their pedicabs may also travel to other areas such as Golden Gate Park and the Mission District. More information about San Francisco’s pedicab partnership within Golden Gate Park isn’t available yet, but hopefully, you’ll be able to hail a pedicab within the park.
