San Francisco Pride Guide 2025

All you need to know about SF’s massive festival and parade (June 28-29) plus tons of other events for Pride

The San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade is one of the largest LGBT gatherings in the nation. The two-day celebration is free and open to all. The Parade takes place on the last Sunday of June annually. The 2025 theme is Queer Joy is Resistance.

54th Annual SF Pride Parade and March
Sunday, June 29, 2025 | Starting at 10:00am
Market Street from Embarcadero / Beale to 8th Street ending at Civic Center

The Pride Parade begins Sunday morning at 10am on Market Street at Embarcadero Plaza. The parade typically has over 250 contingents and lasts around 4 hours. Contingents step onto Market Street and proceed toward the Pride Celebration, ending around Market and 9th. The Celebrity Grand Marshall is Harper Steele.

With over 250 parade contingents and exhibitors, and 4-5 different stages (depending on the day), the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade remains the largest gathering of the LGBTQ+ community and allies in the nation.

San Francisco City Hall lights up for Pride

City Hall will be lit in special lighting on the following days in June 2025:

  • Tuesday, June 3, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of SF PRIDE Month
  • Friday, June 6, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of the City Hall PRIDE Flag Raising
  • Sunday, June 8, 2025 – pink – in recognition of the annual activation of San Francisco’s Pink Triangle on Twin Peaks
  • Monday, June 23, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of SF PRIDE Week
  • Friday, June 27, 2025 – blue/pink/white – in recognition of the annual SF TRANS March
  • Saturday, June 28, 2025 – pink – in recognition of Pink Saturday
  • Sunday, June 29, 2025 – rainbow colors – in recognition of SF PRIDE Weekend
