Magic Wand’s ‘Pleasure as Art’ Sculpture, a sculpture made out of 100 decommissioned wand vibrators, is coming to Good Vibrations in San Francisco next month. The exact opening date has not yet been announced, but it’s expected to be on view starting in early December 2022.

The piece was created by visual artist Dafne Blade and has gained national attention, being featured in PAPER and Mashable. It’s an ethereal interpretation of pleasure that features both sculptural and painted artwork as well as seating that allows the viewer to interact with the piece. The sculpture will be installed mid-November at the Good Vibration’s Mission Street location (899 Mission St.) in the window facing the street.

Magic Wand was the first-ever massage wand and has dominated the category ever since for the past 50+ years. While its design has remained virtually unchanged since its inception, Magic Wand continues to be one of the most popular sex toys on the market and has become an icon of pleasure.
