SF Restaurant Scene Rebounds After Months Long Shutdown

San Francisco restaurants were at capacity over the weekend

Thankfully, now that indoor dining has returned to San Francisco, restaurants are on the road to recovery.

This past weekend, CBS – KPIX5 noted that restaurants along San Francisco’s waterfront had an air of normalcy. Restaurants such was Waterbar and Epic Steak on the Embarcadero were at capacity.

Yes, things looked a bit different though. Patrons were socially distanced, so seating was limited and the wait staff all donned masks, but for the first time, in a long time, things felt a bit more “normal.”

Diners took advantage of the warm weather and enjoyed the al fresco dining as well. Unfortunately, Epic Steak and Waterbar Managing Partner Pete Sittnick, stated “we’re probably about 40 to maybe 50 percent of what we were last year.”
