The 95-foot neon and steel “ladder” resembles a functional fire escape on the 12-story facade of 50 Jones fronting Market Street. “The Ladder now represents one of the great visual attractions along Market Street,” notes Dorka Keehn, project public art consultant. The Ladder is located at 1066 Market Street at Jones and is best viewed anytime after dusk.
