Thanks to SF Gate for sharing the news that San Francisco’s popular 24-hour donut shop Bob’s Donuts1621 Polk St, is planning not one, but two new locations outside The City for the first time in its 62-year history.

The first location outside San Francisco is already set to open at the end of October in Mill Valley, at 252 Almonte Boulevard. Unlike San Francisco, you won’t be able to get your late-night donut fix at the Mill Valley outpost. The new shop won’t be open 24 hours; you can grab fresh donuts from 5 am to 5 pm, but they may extend hours until 9 pm in the future.

The second shop planned for expansion is heading to San Jose’s Santana Row and is expected to open in summer 2023.

Bob’s Donuts opened in 1960 as a family-owned and operated establishment that has become a cornerstone in the Nob Hill community. Our family continues this tradition to this day, dedicated to preserving the art of making handmade donuts. We are proud to be one of the last independent donut shops that still make our donuts and pastries from scratch. Our donuts have a classic taste and texture achieved using traditional techniques. Come enjoy Bobs Donuts at our original Polk St location or our new Baker St. location at 601 Baker Street.
