Pizza lovers, we have some bad news. SF Gate has shared that San Francisco’s beloved Paxti’s Pizza has closed its 24th Street location.

The Noe Valley pizza restaurant, located at 4042 24th Street, specializes in thick Chicago-style deep dish pies. Thankfully, Paxti’s Hayes Valley location (511 Hayes St.) remains open. However, the pizza chain, founded in 2004 in Palo Alto, at one time had 4 locations around the City including in the Inner Sunset and in the Marina, but both have since closed.

Although Paxti’s Pizza has shuttered some San Francisco locations, it has expanded outside the City though. There are two locations in the South Bay, in Campbell and San Carlos, three in the East Bay in Dublin, Lafayette, and Livermore, plus there are locations in So Cal, Seattle, and Colorado.
