All of SF’s Indoor Pools to Open by Mid-June
All 9 of SF’s city-run pools should be open in June with first batch opening mid-April
Splish splash…San Francisco’s indoor swimming pools are opening soon.
San Francisco’s arrival in the state’s Orange Tier means a return to limited indoor lap swimming with prior reservation, as well as some other programs. San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department are currently coordinating staffing and programming in an effort to get you back into the water at SF’s eight indoor pools.
They are anticipating the first openings to begin in mid-April, with all pools open by mid-June. More details and programming information is coming soon.

Come visit Balboa Swimming Pool, which has long been one of the city’s most popular sites for recreational and lap swimming.
The 10,000-square-foot Coffman Pool is located on Visitacion Avenue and Hahn Streets within Herz Playground at the southeastern entrance of McLaren Park.
