SF’s Newly Renovated Shoreview Park Reopens
Join SF Recreation and Parks Department for a reopening celebration for Shoreview Park (1 Lillian Court at Rosie Lee Lane) on Monday, June 7 beginning at 11:30 am.
Help us celebrate the recently completed renovation, which includes a new playground, picnic area, workout equipment and more. The event will feature a ribbon cutting, park activities and giveaways.
The park was constructed by SFRA in 1979 as one of many mini-parks built to serve residents of the newly constructed affordable housing on Hunters Point Hill. Construction began in the fall of 2019.
The renovation of Shoreview Park includes new:
- Accessible path of travel to park areas
- Children’s play area – There is a high adventure value to the large climbing net and slide play elements, which target youth age 5-12.
- Irrigation, planting, and landscape areas
- Park lighting
- Picnic area and site furnishings
