Bay Area Sees Rare Snow: Photos & Videos
Weird and wild weather was seen all around the Bay Area on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Rare snow was seen as low as 2,500 feet on top of Mt. Diablo over in the East Bay and Mt. Hamilton in the South Bay. While hail pelted down in Alameda and San Jose, where thunder and lightning also struck.
Thanks ABC7 for sharing a slideshow video of the rare snowfall around the Bay. Plus here’s some fun photos shared on Twitter of the snow including on top of Mt. Diablo, Mt. Hamilton, above San Jose, up in Santa Rosa, and covering the mountains in Livermore.
When will I learn? Mom told me to have sense to come out of the #rain. She didn’t mention #snow. #MtHamilton #weather pic.twitter.com/c9Q4Hb6xJQ

No this was not taken on the way up to Tahoe but actually on the drive up to the summit of Mt. Diablo. This #storm has brought lighting, #hail, graupel, and even some #snow down to 2,500 feet. Here’s the latest: https://t.co/Mg5o4cwMg8 pic.twitter.com/5nAkHt75ka
