Thanks to ABC7 for letting us know the parks and beaches in the Bay Area with recently reopened parking lots.

This past week, California state officials reopened some parking lots at 145 California State Parks (including 18 in the Bay Area) following a more than 2-month closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

But not every park is open. Here is the list of parks that are still fully closed to the public.

Many of the reopened parking lots have very limited capacity to avoid overcrowding. Social distancing and mask rules may apply. And not all services are available at each park. Before you head out to any park or beach, check the latest on the state park website.
