VP Kamala Harris is Selling Her SF Condo
San Francisco says goodbye to its former resident, Kamala Harris.
Our new United States Vice President just listed her San Francisco condo for $799,000 a little over a week ago and the sale is already pending.
Her one bedroom loft apartment is the on the top floor of a boutique 8-unit building in SoMa. Her unit features cathedral ceilings, oversized windows in the living room, an office nook, a fireplace, a small patio, a walk-in closet, and air conditioning – a rare feature in The City, plus a parking spot.
She bought the condo for $489,000 in 2004 when she was San Francisco’s district attorney (and California’s first black district attorney). It offered about a mile walk to San Francisco Superior Court House.
Although, Harris is saying goodbye to San Francisco for now, she still owns a home in California. She has a 4 bedroom home in Los Angeles in the Brentwood neighborhood with her husband Douglas Emhoff.
