Event Details

Join us to celebrate the release of “Clifton Chenier: King of Louisiana Blues & Zydeco“–the first Arhoolie Records release from Smithsonian Folkways Recordings!
On March 22, we’ll have a listening party at Down Home Music Store with a talk by Adam Machado, Arhoolie Foundation director and box set producer. Copies of the box set will be available for purchase.
Afterward, we’ll head across the street to Banter Wine Bar (10368 San Pablo) for an afterparty with a Louisiana food pop-up by Pops’ Creole. We hope to see you there!
Presented by the Arhoolie Foundation.
