This opportunity is hosted in collaboration with SF Parks and Recreation, the San Francisco Environment Department, and the office of Mayor Daniel Lurie. Purpose
The Community Climate Action Day (CCAD) at McLaren Park brings together community members to take meaningful action in support of San Francisco vibrant green spaces. Through urban greening projects like planting and invasive removal, this event aims to enhance the park’s green spaces, improve air quality, and create a healthier environment for all. By engaging volunteers in hands-on climate action, we promote sustainable practices that strengthen our community’s resilience against climate change. This initiative is made possible through the collaboration of California Climate Action Corps and local partners, reflecting our shared commitment to a greener, more sustainable San Francisco.
