Event Details

In one of his first moves as executive chef at the Fairmont, JW Foster had beehives installed at the famous hotel.

No, it wasn’t an old-fashioned way to twart burglars. Foster teamed with local beekeepers Marshall’s Farm so that he would have access to fresh, hyper-local honey to put together his delicacies.

Now you can learn to use local honey in a variety of recipes from the executive chef himself along with beekeeper Helene Marshall of Marshall’s Farm. He will feature his home-harvested honey as part of the hotel’s afternoon tea service. RSVP on the CUESA Website.

With your $10 donation to Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture, you’ll get a farmers-market inspired gift bag, featuring local honey and other treats.
