2026 San Francisco Earth Day Festival

Earth Day San Francisco returns on Sunday, April 19, 2026, taking place at The New Farm in Bayview-Hunters Point from noon to 6 pm.

This is a free, family-friendly festival focused on environmental education, local community programs, and live music. The event is hosted at The New Farm, a community garden and outdoor space built on a former industrial site near the San Francisco waterfront.

Programming includes live music and performances throughout the day, starting with a dance performance by the Temple of Isis. Local musicians and bands including Jordan Feinstein, Pamela Parker, Rojai, and The Third Thursday Band are scheduled to perform, with a mix of funk, jazz, rock, and electronic sets.

There will also be speakers and talks, including civil rights attorney Angela Alioto discussing Earth Day history in San Francisco, and Judy Berg Goldhaft from Planet Drum focusing on biodiversity and bioregional awareness.

Alongside the stage programming, the festival includes environmental education activities, native plant information, urban farming demonstrations, and opportunities to see farm animals on site. Food, art, and family activities will also be part of the event.

The New Farm is operated by the Green City Project and is used year-round for community gardening, environmental education, and cultural programming.

Earth Day San Francisco at The New Farm is free and open to the public.
