Event Details

837,442 people inhabit San Francisco. But, who? One photographer wants to find out. She will take as many portraits as possible in a 12-hour period (9 am to 9 pm). Serious, silly, absurd, but most of all: human.

Free, but an RSVP is requested.

Come get your portrait taken. It’s free. Bring your friends. After the event, you will find your portrait on facingsanfrancisco.com

Here is what the photographer has to say: “I am a portrait photographer and long-time resident of San Francisco. I’m very interested in large-scale, engaging, accessible art. For this reason, on April 11, 2015, I will sit in front of my camera from 9 am to 9 pm with the intent of capturing as many portraits of passersby and attendees as possible. The portraits are free and everyone is welcomed to participate.”
