Beginning November 25, 2013, the UCSF Library will host “Surviving and Thriving,” an exhibition from the National Library of Medicine that explores the rise of AIDS in the early 1980s and the evolving response to the epidemic over the last 30 years.

View historic photographs, pamphlets, and other materials that illustrate how people in San Francisco and beyond responded, or failed to respond, to HIV/AIDS.
