Free San Francisco Chamber Orchestra Family Concerts
San Francisco Chamber Orchestra bring you the young singers of the Oakland Youth Chorus to the family concert stages. An appealing program featuring songs of unity and togetherness will also showcase the skills of local diva Ann Moss.
Concerts:
- Saturday, March 14, 2020: 2 pm @ Noe Valley Ministry, SF
- Sunday, March 15, 2020: Noon @ Oakland Asian Cultural Center
- Sunday March 15, 2020: 3:30 pm @ Palo Alto Community Center, Mitchell Park, El Palo Room
Admission is free to all, but donations are gladly accepted. Seating is first come, first served (no tickets). Concerts are generally 45 to 60 minutes in length. Doors open 30 minutes before concert time.
The oldest musical instrument is the rock; even Paleolithic Man couldn’t resist the urge to tap them together and start getting a groove on. Meet three of the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra’s team of crack percussionists, those versatile musicians in the back of the orchestra handling everything from a bass drum and cymbals to a thundersheet and crotales. Guaranteed to astound you, and probably make things a bit noisier around the house for a while.
