Freedom Narrative, an afternoon of collective art and expression celebrating faith, arts and activism. Honoring those who in the past have fought for justice, and acknowledging the fight we continue in today.

Come join us and experience a lyrical ensemble of movement and spoken word, as dance and poetry intersect to tell stories of hope that inspire and empower the communities around us.

About Zaccho Dance Theatre
ZDT creates and presents performance work that investigates dance as it relates to place. Artistic Director Joanna Haigood’s creative work focuses on making dances that use natural, architectural and cultural environments as points of departure for movement exploration and narrative.

About Lyrical Opposition
LO is a lyrical collective opposing injustice through the integration of faith, arts & activism. LO’s Lyrical Assembly is a Sunday series that cultivates a nomadic community of artists and organizers, who assemble to spread messages of hope that inspire and empower communities towards social change.
