2019 Skate San Francisco: The Roller Revival

It is a destination event that will bring skaters from far and wide for a skate vacation they will never forget. You will not experience a more fun, exciting skating weekend.
- Thursday – 7 pm to 10 pm: Church of 8 Wheels Black and White Skaters’ Ball
$25 – 100 ticket limit
It begins on Thursday night, July 11, 2019 with the Skaters’ Black and White Ball event at the Church of 8 Wheels Roller Disco.
- Friday – 9 pm to Midnight: Light Up the Night – The San Francisco Friday Night Skate
On Friday, July 12, roll on the world famous San Francisco Friday Night Skate. The event ends on Sunday with the Skaters’ Showcase in Golden Gate Park. Meet at the Ferry Building at Market and the Embarcadero at about 8 pm. Taking off at 9 pm for a rolling skate party that winds through a 12-mile loop through the city. The route will take us to Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf, Aquatic Park, the Marina, the Palace of Fine Arts, Union Street, the Broadway Tunnel, the Stockton Tunnel, Union Square, the “Concrete Canyons” and back to the Ferry Building where we began.
- Saturday – 11 am to 6 pm: Roller Revival – Roller Skating Music Festival
$10 to enter – $5 for skate rental. Participants living in the 94124 zip code are free.
Hunter’s Point Shoreline Park will be the site of the very first ever, “Roller Revival.” San Francisco Skate Music Festival. This is a fantastic area that used to be a power plant, but has been transformed into an area that is great for roller skating. There will be two different areas where DJs will pump up the volume for a funky good time. There will be a Old School Funk and Soul venue, and an EDM / hip hop venue with top DJs that that specialize in their related fields of music. The gates will open at 11 am and we roll until 6 pm.
- Saturday – 8 pm to Midnight: The Church of 8 Wheels

Is one of those unique happenings that expresses the essence of what makes San Francisco such a great place to live. From 7 pm to 10 pm, there will be a roller disco party for all participants. Spreading “rolligion” is what they do and David “D” Miles, the “GodFather of Skate” in San Francisco, will be the MC/DJ minister spreading the word of the old school funk and roller disco music which is the main source of their rolligious energy.
- Sunday – 1 pm: The San Francisco Skaters’ Showcase
On Sunday presents the San Francisco Skaters’ Showcase as the best skaters in Golden Gate Park strut their stuff. From 7 pm to 10 pm, there will be a roller disco party for all participants.
