Come meet the owner of Sonoma’s The Girl & the Fig restaurant Sondra Bernstein talk about her food adventures and writing her book Plats du Jour: The Girl & the Fig’s Journey Through the Seasons in Wine Country.

Since the opening of her restaurant in 1997, different aspects in the girl & the fig world have evolved. One of the changes that has been introduced is a wine country take on the concept of Plats du Jour, a set weekly menu that includes a starter, main course, and dessert or cheese course. The Plats du Jour concept began as an innovative way to offer our guests a great value utilizing the very best of the season.
