Meet outside in front of Gott’s Restaurant at the Ferry Building. If you wanna dress as a pirate, no one will stop you, or we just talk like pirates, and look for pirate ships.

After proceeding along the Embarcadero to the Filbert Steps, the stairs are impressive for their length, their wonderful views of San Francisco, the well tended gardens on either side, and the beautiful art deco buildings along the way. One of the most spectacular buildings features three-story high reliefs of San Francisco. Here is the best chance to see parrots.

Nearby are the equally amazing Greenwich Street Stairs too. Afterwards, check out the murals at Coit Tower.

From there walk to Russian Hill, a quaint, upscale residential community known for the famously crooked Lombard Street, a major tourist destination. Plus see the iconic San Francisco cable cars crest the neighborhood’s hills, which provide views of a number of city landmarks including the Golden Gate and Bay bridges.

Then stroll across through Fort Mason in search of pints on the outdoor patio of the San Francisco Brewing Company (space is reserved for the group).

Please note that this is an A-B. We will not be returning to where we began, but we will be near a bus to get you home.
