History Museum: Free First Fridays | Redwood City
Enjoy free admission from 10 am to 4 pm, every first Friday of the month, at the San Mateo History Museum.
Explore the museum housed in the 1910 County Courthouse; listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it features a stained glass dome and mosaic tile floor.
2 pm General Tour: Explore local history from the time of original Native American residents to today. This hour long tour led by museum staff will include some of the highlights of the museum’s long-term exhibits. The tour starts in the Rotunda.
The History Museum is an innovative regional history center featuring interactive experiences highlighting the county’s rich and colorful history.
