Submitted by the Event Organizer
Celebrate the holidays at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco’s Tree and Atrium Lighting Celebration starting at 7 pm on Friday, November 21, 2014, immediately following the Embarcadero Lighting Ceremony.
The one hour program will feature MCs Jack and Charly from KOIT Radio and entertainment from:
- Glide Memorial Choir
- Meshuga Nutcracker, a humorous Klezmer-ized orchestration of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite
- Young People’s Symphony Orchestra Brass Section
Additionally, a Make A Wish kid will be in attendance to help flip the switch for the 300,000 lights that illuminate the Hyatt Regency San Francisco’s dramatic 17-story atrium lobby, culminating in the lighting of the 30-foot tree.
Back by popular demand, the legendary Snow Village will be on display, encompassing over 1,000 pieces, ranging from traditional holiday-inspired collectibles to entertaining motion-oriented exhibits.
Complementing the dramatic lights and lavish interior décor, snow will fall daily in the Hyatt Lobby from November 22 to December 30, 2014.
Snow times are as follows:
- Weekends (Saturday-Sunday) at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm, and 6:30 pm
- Weekdays (Monday–Friday) at 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm
While it’s not real snow (you’d break your neck slipping on the floor), the foamy flakes give a fantastic illusion, though you’ll want to keep your mouth closed for this one.
