Japanese Flower Arranging at County Fair Building in GG Park (SF)

Join Ikebana International’s San Francisco Bay Area Chapter for its next demonstration on Friday, April 19 at noon in the County Fair Building (1199 9th Avenue) in Golden Gate Park. Ikebana, or Japanese flower arrangement, is an ancient Asian art vibrantly practiced in contemporary interpretations by this organization’s members.

This event will feature demonstrations of two of the most delightful Ikebana styles, Aratame and Chiko. These diverse styles will be arranged together to present a cohesive program emphasizing the playful joy of creativity. Tea and treats will follow the demonstration.
